I'm running 31x9.50X15 TLS super swampers, looking to do some upgrade. should I do transfer-case or the ring & pinion. I'm from Hawaii (Maui) and we have sandy beaches here and lava rock crawling when I go fishing. give me some of your idea on what kind of gearing should I run.....Much Mahalo

I'm a fan of the transfer case myself, easy to install and don't require you to tear apart the axles.  Go with a 4.8:1, it should give you the high range power needed to run around the island and is still high enough to be useful in low range.  Make sure you upgrade your t-case mounts as well, as they can tear with the lower gears.
