Rear brake 88 samurai

Rear brake 88 samurai

I just  replaced the rear brake shoes on my 88 samurai I have them adjusted as loose as possible but they seem very tight, it seems to roll down the road just fine but if I jack it up I can barely spin the wheels by hand.Any tips or ideas? Thanks Mike ???

They will wear in in a short time, also the E-brake keeps (is supposed to)
the shoes adjusted as it's used
