1990 sammy idles up and down?

1990 sammy idles up and down?

I just got my sammy put together and for some reason sometimes it idles up and down and the other times it idles high anyone know whats goin on with it?

up and down idle is generally caused by a vacuum leak.
high idle?  hot or cold?  if it is cold, then that is what it is supposed to do.  if it is high hot, then it could be the temp sensor isn't sending back the proper reading to the ecm to let it know it is warmed up and the idle needs to drop.

mine done this and it was the throttle body had it cleaned and it stopped I know it sounds crazy
