underneath those plastic rockers,  as with many sammy's,  mine had the horrible cancer known as rust on the metal.   

I did a little sandblasting, and some temporary fixing with some black paint to keep the exposed metal from continued rusting.
I didnt get any pictures of the rust that are really good from before, but it was pretty rough. still is, so in time I plan to cut that entire part out, and put a new rock slider setup in place to replace it there.
