Are 5.29's a good gear for bigger tires on a samwurai? I can get 2 ring and pinions 5.29's brand new for $150 sound like a good deal?

No personal experience but that is the the gear a lot of people run in there toy axles with 6.5 tc gears for tires around 37s. You can try out the gear calculator over at Izook.com ( http://www.izook.com/gearcalc.htm ) and see if they will work for you depending on your setup. Price sounds good also, trail-gear sells them for $139 a set, they also recommend them for 35's and up.

I got 34's on right now with a stock t-case.I had my buddies 5.14 t case in lastweek,man did my sam rly crawl like that....I might buy his t case.but the gears seemed rly cheap so i thought i might buy them just to have...

While gears are nice they don't solve the problem of not having a good low range for rocks and technical sections.  Don't forget that along with the gears you will have to pick up an installation kit to replace your crush sleeve and oil seal.

I'm a big fan of the t-case swap myself.  How was your highway driving and trail ability with the 5.2 t-case setup?

Lots of people run 6.5 T-case gears matched with 5.29's and love it....just not on the freeway.
Nice low range and you can turn a big tire.  You just have to deal with screaming high RPM's while street cruzin.
