RRO lift questions

Just put the 2.5 lift in. OME springs and struts, spacers and whatnot. Install took about 3 hours, real easy. My question is it normal to hear some suspention noise in the first few miles? Feels great and runs straight down the road.

Also, in all my reading on this site, I've never read about a longer vent line to the rear end. I needed one.

Also, did you use coil spacers? Are they metal? I'm using metal coil spacers and I was hearing noise whenever the suspension moves (even on small bumps) and a friend told me it's just the metal coil spacers...
Now I don't hear it anymore... I think they're too dirty now

Doublecheck the tightness of all of your bolts after about 100 miles or so.

The breather on mine is pretty much on the limit with a 2" lift and longer shocks. Its still attached though after 3 years, I'm not sure I could go much further on the wheel drop anyway without a diff spacer.

Front end not aligned yet. Think I got about 12 miles on it so far. Seems to make a spring noise only after I back up then go forward.

Did you get the foot of the springs properly set in their spring cups?
(it might take a bit for them to settle into there final resting places.)

Bad u-joint in the driveshaft?? Maybe the lift has exaggerated it?
Also, my rear vent line when I lifted....it was rusted enought from it's mount I just ripped the line from the mount!
Now I have plenty of line.

One other thing to check is the handbrake cables. Sometimes you have to remove the clamp that holds them to the suspension arm, otherwise the handbrake can come on at full droop. Of course sometimes that can help you get drive when the wheel is hanging in the air

I found a piece of the camber adjusting bolt on the shop floor. Maybe when we put it in, that plastic cam part of it broke off. So I think the noise may be the spindle part moving back and forth in the strut. Going to pull those out and put the regular bolt back in.

How much would the top strut mount need to be slotted to get the wheels back in alignement? could I drill new holes insted?
