My driver mechanic was urging me to confiscate the small amount of gold ore we found in the house, but knowing that the farm help and his family toiled for it, I just couldn't. I am seeking lawyer's help on what to do with the farm help...

I saw their 10 days produce of 30 grams gold ore equivalent to about $1,021... considering the 4 family members and two neighbors that dug up the ore for 10 days, that is about $17.02 a piece/day.   Not so rewarding and they destroyed a large portion of the river bed for it.

The riverbed can be restored by mother nature in maybe two rainy seasons.  Days of continous heavy downpour will bring rocks and boulders rolling down from the mountains with the water. Eventually, the riverbed will heal.

The pot holes and tunnels they dug up inside the farm boundaries can be repaired but it will be costly.  The sad part is if the tunnels are not covered, rain water can weaken its walls and might collapse bringing down the top soil and some mango trees with it. 62 mature trees are in immediate danger. 

I am tempted to post pic of the gold ore they dug up but I think it won't be appropriate anymore and will be out of topic.

  really enjoyed that first outing with the zuk... Once I get the winch and 6.50:1 rockcrawler installed, I am def going to try much tougher trails.  Should be fun.

      I'd tell the farm hands they can only work on the prospecting on their days off, to split the gold with you ( take 15%) and they have to restore the riverbed back to orig. Gold in the U.S. is 1214.72 US per ounce that's 1360.85 AUD. Lovely LWB Suzuki. Wish we had more of them here.

I am from the Philippines and yes the front suspension was converted to coil spring.

the riverbed healed itself... the potholes and shallow tunnels in the land were repaired with the help of some heavy equipment.  We allowed the deep tunnels to caved-in.
