HELP: Interior Handle Installation (Samurai)
« on: July 01, 2010, 01:11:49 AM »
Help! I've got a pair of aluminum interior door handles for my Suzuki Samurai and I'm trying to figure out how to install them. Does anyone have a pdf file or scanned image of the instructions on how to install these properly. Better yet, does someone know of a video tutorial on how to install these handles. I want to install them correct and I just have the handles without any instructions.

They should be similar to the sidekick handles...

1- Remove screw from back plate (behind handle)
2- slide entire handle assembly forward (towards front of truck), pull out on back of assembly and pull through door panel.
3- remove plastic retaining clip from metal push rod on back of assembly (i believe you need to twist it then slide the rod out).
4- install new handle in reverse order of above.

**Keep in mind that this is from memory, I have not done it in a while**
