I plan on doing the YJ conversion on my sami but have a few questions. Im just looking to get a more comfortable ride and a mild lift so i was going to do a SPUA YJ conversion. But do i need anything else other than the actual springs, frame brackets, shackles, and spring plates? Any Steering componets or will i be ok with the mild lift.  Just tryin to get a parts list so i can get it all together before i start. Thanks in advance

Steering should be ok, since you are using relocation brackets and you won't push the axle forward too much to bind the drag link against the tie rod.  If it does bind, you can redrill the spring plates and axle perches an inch or so to move the axle back.
I think most people use missing links (MLs) on the front, so they don't have to extend the front of the frame for new shackle mounts.
You may need longer (or new) ubolts.....depending on how thick the springs are and what kind of condition the old ubolts are in, once you get them off.

Not sure what shocks most people run with YJs.  I put taller upper shock mounts on the front and welded some lower shock mounts to the axle housing on the rear, as well as using different upper rear shock mounts.  So I am running rear Ranger shocks on the front and shocks off some dodge pickup on the rear.  Once I got everything on, I flexed it out and measured what length shocks I needed, then looked up monroe shocks (I think it was), where they listed collapsed and extended lengths and found some shocks that would work for me.
