Has anyone put a Samurai transfer case as a second t-case behind the stock Sidekick case? Would a Samurai tcase lower the overall gearing in 2wd high?

IIRC, doesn't Wildweasel have a Sammy case in his 2-door? Then again, he also has a ~10" extended wheelbase, too

One of the biggest things to think about when doing this is the stock front output of the front t-case. It'll be in the way. OTT Industries removes this output and plates the t-case. Wildweasel did basically the same thing.

Here is a thought. Get a 2wd trans for the 4wd tracker. Get a pair of Toyota cases, add the front plate to make divorce, add the adapter plate to mate them together, fab a custom crossmember, and then have 4wd doubler.

The Toyota t-case is 13" overall length, with a 4.25" long low case. So far that's 17.25" without adapters.

 Well, to give you any idea, I have a sammy case attached to the back of a kick case, Kicker3 from OTT Industries in B.C. Sammies have a much shorter wheelbase than a 2 door kick. Rear driveline in the sammy is untouched for the application. If I remember right, Heather's rear driveline is about the same if not a hair longer than it started. If you still try to do a divorced mounting for the sammy case, you will lose rear driveline length. But the only time the drivline length is going to pose much of a problem is if you have too much lift. If it poses too much concern, just look at how long Jeep drivelines haven't been forever.
The sammy case is 1.4:1 in high with a 2.28:1 low. The kick case is a 1:1 in high with a 1.8:1 in low. With the sammy in high and the kick in low it's 3.24:1. And bothe cases in low is 4.104:1. And the high range correction with stock axle gearing is good enough for 33s or 35s. And let me tell you, the reduction in all 3 low ranges are much better than stock. And having the gearing choices is wonderful.

So next question: Does Calmini's t-case gears for the kick lower the high gearing?

EDIT: just checked Calmini's site... $975 for t-case gears, $600 for a kicker 3 (but you provide both t-cases, if I've read it correctly).

 They still haven't re-edited their kicker3 page....damnit! You don't have to send them the sammy case. Just the kick case. And to answer the Calmini kick case gear question...no it does nothing for high range. Heather has that very gear set in her kicker3, has crazy gearing in compound low, like a 9.67:1 in compound low! I think that pretty much anyone would be more than happy with a 4.104:1 compound low. And besides, wouldn't it be nice to be able to go gears, and at lest one locker?

Yea you need to push the WB unless you go OTT. Unless you want to do ALOT of extra work then go OTT. My buddy randy is running one in his sami and it is sweet. Mine does the same thing and only cost me lots of fab time,  but for the cost
the Kicker is the way to go. If I had to do it again I would go kicker. My setup funtions the same. (really good)

But the driveshaft has not been a problem at all.
