89 to 95 swap
« on: August 09, 2010, 07:08:51 PM »

well folks , have not been here for a while but  i finished a  mark today thats been a long time coming
yesterday i  finished up my 89 to 95 swap
for those who dont recall . i bought a 1995 4 door Suzuki  to use as an upgrade for my 89 2 door .
while most of the running gear  went over last year  and i have now put 35 thousand on the swap . i didnt  yet change over the braking system. mostly because it was all new  . i had just replaced it a couple weeks before the engine went south in my 89 . so i found a couple weeks ago  it was time for some new break shoes . so i figured now was the time  to do the swap for good .
i have to say that my 2 door has NEVER braked so well .
its a very VERY big and noticable  improvment .

so now i can say that just about the only thing  thats a 89 is the body . everything else is bone stock 95 .
 so what went over ?

 the dash ,
 peddles
 seats
 head lamps
complete steering system
 heater
she is now a  5 speed   instead of the 3 speed auto
 front end
rear end
Suspension
 complete break system
 Complete exhaust system
all wiring
