Yeah, that''s what I wound up doing last year I think it was July I picked up my 2000 four door, it's a base model, 2.0 5 speed with few options. just air, cd player and a luggage rack with cross members (I think they're optioal, it was a lease turn in with only 35,000 miles on it and it looked like a 2003!! It was just that clean, underneith, the frame, the motor, everything. It was very well taken care of, I traded in my 90 Trooper with the rotted out frame and only paid $9700 out the door, that's tax, tags, the whole nine yards, plus it was a GM certified used vehicle, so they extend the warrenty. I"m very happy with it, it gets between 26 and sometimes 27 on the highway, runs like a champ, keeps up with traffic just fine, and all I've done this past year and 13,000 miles is change the oil every 3k, that's it, it even has it's original brakes and tires (Unyroyal tiger slicks, I really gotta do something about those, but right now there's still half the tread on them). Hope this helps, DAve
