Tracker value question
« on: September 15, 2010, 02:55:10 PM »
I have a 4WD, 2 door, 1993 Geo Tracker with the 8-valve engine, auto-locking hubs, working A/C, Upgraded alternator and after-market cruise.  It has about 100k miles on it and runs like a top.  I'm considering selling it and was wondering what it would be worth.

(I'm not sure whether blue book values apply to these vehicles or not.)

I paid $1500 for a similar 92 that had 145,000 miles and a very clean body.  I'd say $2000-$2500 would be a fair price for yours if it doesn't leak fluids and has a good body.  Where are you located?

$2k-$2.5k is about right.  I sold a very similar 2wd for $2,200 last year.  KBB, etc. is useless for older vehicles.

Located in Central Texas.  I forgot to add that it also has the automatic transmission.

It drips a little bit of oil, but not much.  Body has a couple of dings in it, but other than that it's in great shape.

I had a 91 with 115000 miles on it and sold it for 1000 and it was wrecked (i got t-boned by a idiot who was talking on his cell phone and did not stop at a stop sign).
