XL7 Family vehicle?
« on: September 20, 2010, 03:19:34 PM »
I am thinking about buying a 2002 XL7 and getting rid of the minivan.  I have a wife and 3 kids (ages 3,4 & 7) and this will be a family vehicle.

*Will the 3 kids fit in the back comfortably?

* Is this a good family vehicle?

Thanks for the reply.  I will definitely be getting one with 3 rows of seats.

We bought ours Feb. '05 a month before our daughter was born, my oldest was 8 at the time and middle son was 6, we are realy happy we got it.  The only problem is a slight lack of storage in the back with both rear seats up, we used to fold one down and my oldest sat in the back, now that the kids are getting bigger, and usually have a friend to bring along it still works out great.  We mostly use the 4WD for the snow.  My wife is just not a minivan person. I highly recommend one, and if you buy one used the price isn't bad.

Amazing for a family vehicle. Drove from Vancouver to Calgary with wife, in-laws and three teens fully loaded. Other than petty arguments which would probably happen with any vehicle, it ran great on the hwy and the fuel economy was way better than the ford we were planning to take before it died. Would agree with everyone else defiantly third row and rear ac.
