Geo power steering question

Geo power steering question

I have a 95' 2dr geo that dosent have power steering. Have a couple questions about it. Can I buy a pump somewhere and bolt on? And will it take alot of power out of my motor?

You can get a used one from a auto wrecker .but get everything the pump,steering box,brackets ,hoses,also the steering shaft from the steering box to the fire wall .Their is a difference in leanth.Have seen some on eBay :)

Make sure you get a steering kit from a 16v to match your's.  The 8 valve engine has a slightly different bracket design and would need to be modified to fit.
