help with rear wheel bearing on 2000 tracker

i have a 00 tracker with abs and i need to know how to replace the bearing. i can get the shaft out don't need help with that just getting the bearing off the shaft. it has the abs ring on it. also local parts store only has it listed for non abs and the other parts store dosesnt specify. anyone know were to get a resonably priced bearing? thanks for your help

You will need to get the bearing pressed off the axle shaft, then just
cross reference the # on the bearing with the new one, it most likely
the same but it's not listed in the books as the same, if not, go to a
bearing and material handling shop, they can get them for you, and
usually for less. If you can't find one let me know, I have a supplier

Too start with, try going to iZook and look at the FSM (factory service manual). I'm about to get into this job and it cleared up all my questions.
What you have to do is grind off the retainer ring and press off the bearing. The retainer ring is the part that's different between ABS and non ABS, I believe the bearing is the same. From what I have been able to find out, that ring is a dealer part. I think they quoted me $25 for a NON ABS ring.

That sounds about right sage, the retainer is an iffy find from some aftermarket bearing suppliers. Be sure to ask and check to see you get both.
