Well I have been looking around for a while and found a project.  I brought home this Zuki this morning.  I have been lurking in the background for a little while here and have picked up some good ideas for this.



 



It is an '88 with either 104K or 204K on is (old odo doesn't read out the 1 or 2).  It doesn't run and was parked in 2002 when the engine quit.  I have a 1.6L VW diesel (non turbo    ) that will be going in it this winter along with pulling the body off for a complete buildup including a SOA lift to fit 31s under it.  Here is the donor ('84 rabbit) and the new heart for the Zuk.



 



The best thing about this was the price tag!  It has a new (2 yrs old) top on it.  The guy just wanted it out of his garage.  I ended up giving him $50 just because I was feeling guilty about it.  The body isn't too bad (for NY winters and being an '88 ). I'll have some pics as the project goes on.
