ok so last night I picked up a gm alternator and googled the number on it(#DL7127-12M) and found out its a 63amp model and I want the 100 amp. does anyone have the numbers I need to look for on these to get the 100amp?

I usually just to go the local auto parts store and ask for the 100 amp one wire.

I did and all the guys in my area are idiots and say they cant look it up. JUST SEARCH EBAY FOR A CS130.  Sorry dude, but we're beating a dead horse with all these alternator posts.  I got mine for $65 shipped WITH a v-pulley and its a 100amp.  All you had to do is ask me.

well I have one now that napa said is either a 100amp or 140amp but know one can test it to find out for sure because I dont know what vehicle it would go on and knowone is able to look up the numbers. now all I have to do is find a pigtail for it and swap the pulley's.

 Make sure that you find the pigtail with only 2 wires, as this makes it easier to wire it in. Yes, there are 5 pins in the socket, but, only 2 are needed to get it to run.

There's only 4 pins in that socket.
