95 Sidekick lift kits
« on: December 28, 2010, 03:41:07 PM »
I know, do a search. Did that without a real answer. I looking at doing a 2 to 2-1/2" lift on it. I want a nice street ride. I had a Sammy and a Tracker I put Calmini lifts on previously, 2-1/2 suspension and 2" body. Too stiff for me (a little older now). I do not want to go over 2-1/2". Old short (5'-7")guys, like me, have a hard time crawling in if it's higher than that. The heaviest stuff I'll have in it is my grandkids. Occasionally I do a little crawling out of neccesity, while in Anza Borrego or Big Bear. So who has the closest to stock ride in a 2 to 2-1/2" lift?

Doesn't installing spacers limit the flex, since the shocks/struts are original length? Maybe I'll try them for now, since they do save a bundle (actually, price is not a concern of mine). Got a link to your site (Jeff?)

Just maybe I'll get around to installing Jeff's coil spacer stuff this week. Seems like I need about 26 hours in day these days to get done what I use to get done in 24 hour day.
