Fading Brakes?
« on: May 30, 2005, 05:43:31 PM »
Hey Guy, Girls, and Guru's,
I was out wheeling with my brother in law the other day, and was doing some fairly extrem rocks. While on my way up, say a 50 to 60 degree angle I hit the brakes to avoid dropping a front tire into a hole to quickly. when I did so, my brake peddle hit the fire wall. I pumped it quickly and have had no problems since.
Any Idea's, The fluid is full, but never been replace to my knowledge.

Any thing would help, just glad it was on the way up and not down.

With a relocated front A-arm like Mike Hagen has,
the coil spring hits the caliper and causes this
after a sharp turn, I don't know of and other reasons
this happens

Good Luck

Wild guess, low fluid level causing air to get in?

Hey I appreciate what I've heard,
My front is all Calmini 3 in suspension, the back it somewhat tweaked to move more.  I'll keep checking, hopefully it was just a freak thing as the Tracker has returned to Daily driver status, with the fuel prices.

Thanks again
