8valve moded or 16vavle

Im going to look at a 16valve motor to buy but now im hearing the its like only 15hp more and less torque.

What should i do keep the 8valve throw the calmini cam and do some port work and the header and exhaust i have now ?

I dunno anyone thanks this board is very good

The two engines have the same torque... the 16v just has 20 or so more horses...

I'd go with the 16v, since from what I've heard it has beefier internals if you ever decided to mod that engine *cough*turbo*cough*

talk to wildgoody he said he would sell a turbo set-up to push aroud 120-135 hp

Ok coo yeah they have a motor still in the truck so ill go pull it all out myself
