Alright, I tried to bleed the rear brakes yesterday.  First I tried to bleed the brakes from the anti lock valve but couldn't get any brake fluid to come out? ( PUSHING THE PEDAL TO HARD MAYBE) Then I moved to the back brakes.  The passenger side didn't have a bleeding valve cause it was connected to the driver's side ( IS THIS CORRECT).   Then tried to bleed the drivers side and could only get a little fluid to come out.  Not even enough to make the pedal go to the floor?

Bleeding brakes is a 2 person job, how did
you bleed them ??

The only other way is with a 1 man brake bleeder
which is a vacuume pump with a catch jar for the
fluid to go into.

You might have got some air into the system when
you opened up the "anti lock valve" (not sure what
you mean as 88s didn't have ABS)

When you bleed brakes, you need to start at the end
of the circuit and bleed till you see clean fluid (clear)
instead of yellow or dark color, that should do it.

Yes, I was using two people.  While I watched.  NOT.. No I had my buddy working the brake pedal as I released and tighten the valve.  Maybe it's the combination valve.  I'll have to look at the Hanes manual again?

Sometimes the bleeder valves get
junk in them and just won't bleed.
