i need help

i'm putting in my sterring stabilizer/ truss kit for a 1995 geo tracker, i wanted to know if any one has ever done this, i'm running into some problems, it's stupied to ask but where are the pivots bolts on the comtrol arm , i can see some but, if i were to take those off the calmini part doesnt reach to the other one, can any body plz help, i have all the parts maybe, i'm just confused. any thing would help. thanks pierre

can you take some pictures??? are you talking about the blue cross member or the gold u bolts?

what you need to do is pull the bolts on the front pivot point of the control arm (where it attaches to the frame)

You will also need to remove your sway bar because the truss fits behind the sway bar. (you can put the sway bar back on after you install the truss, but I never bothered.  You really don't feel a differance with it off IMHO)

I'm heading home in a few moments (at my uncles right now) so I'll take some pics for you when I get there.

Edit:  oh and the bracket that you bolt on to your steering assemably should bolt on like this  |""

it sits on the bottom of the steering cross member (forgot what that rod is called)

The pics will explian it all.  I'll post them within the next 30 mins.

i got the kit into place just wanted to thank kreg, for those picture they really helped out. now time for the exhaust system.
