Need help with lifting my Grand Escudo please
« on: February 23, 2011, 04:58:46 PM »
Hey All!
I recently picked up a 2003 Grand Escudo (XL-7 in some countries). and I would like to lift it between 2"-3". I really would like some advice in the best way not to mention cost effective to accomplish this.
I have come across a few kits on the net and based on all you guys who have done this, was wondering which kit would work best.
           KITS
1. http://www.puresuzuki.com/2.5%20Lift.htm EXPENSIVE THOUGH

2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-COIL-LIFT-99-05-GEO-TRACKER-SUZUKI-VITARA-XL-7-/280627842901?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4156b90f55

3. http://www.masterkit1.com/XL-7_combo3_01-06AN_11.htm

4. http://www.giz.com.tw/english/product.php?pid=1&ppid=6 from Taiwan

IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY OTHER KIT PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Hello,

I have the masterkit1 3 inch lift on my '04 xl-7 and you can not fit 31" tires, I tried 245/75/16's and they rubbed bad and went back to 225/75/16's which you can run stock.  this lift is also noisie,  alot of squeaking with the metal spacers. hope this helps in your decision.  let me know if you have more ? about masterkit1 lift.

245/75/16 you will need to run 3" sup. lift and 2" body lift plus a little wheel arch work to fit.
