Does anybody know how to convert these readings to horsepower and torque?  I forgot how.
160kw
186NM
not a huge deal, just excited to see how much my motor is putting out.

160kw = 214 hp

186NM = 137 (ft lb)

I was wondering when someone would catch that.  It's actually the output for a suzuki 1600 ralley car.  Now I need to find out what they did to achieve those numbers.

Oh, I noticed that, I didn't think it
was a Zuk Motor.

Can you say, Turbocharger, 16 Valve Head
Forged Pistons, and lot's of trick parts and $$
That's how, I'm getting 145 HP from a home brew
system that is pieced together from wrecking yard
parts and an extra EFI computer.

Heaven only knows what I could do with some
$$ and a supply of trick parts   ;D

80 HP at the crank, about 60 to the ground,
use the poor mans dyno, get a 1/4 mile ET
or MPH and the weight of the trucklet with you
included and plug the #s in

Holy shit... isn't 25% drivetrain loss a little high? Even for an auto? I thought the figure was like 10-15%. :-/

I dunno, that's what I figured thru test
runs, go get some 1/4 mile runs and lets
see how you come out, I might have some
drag I need to find, lets see 7" total lift
30" tires and 5.83 gears, should be less ??

Get some #s back to me and lets see
:D

If runs at the local drag strip were free... then maybe... or if there WERE a local strip around here ;D.

I dunno... that's what I've always heard, but I dunno if lift+more weight+larger tires would equate to worse drivetrain loss...

I'm installing the bigger Turbo tomorrow,
then I'll go down to the 1/4 Mile marked
off patch of pavement and see what she
does.  Then I'll post the results, and do
it again when the 3" exhaust goes in   ;D
