I have heard there is a 'Wax-Oil' stuff that some auto body shops can inject into all the parts of the body on a vehicle to prevent rust from ever starting.   Has anyone heard of this stuff and what the proper name for it is and possibly where to find it?  I bought a 87' Samurai and it doesn't have any rust and I don't want it to start.

Alot of body guys around here use used motor oil. Your car will drip for a while but it will slow the rust process down.  I like to use grease. Its messy but holds longer than oil.  After wheeling I wash my Tracker underneath real good and put motor oil in every spot that will take it.

Some other rust prevention products to consider would be Fluid Film and an older coating that I didn't know still existed called Cosmoline.

I have known people that would use their used motor oil and a pump sprayer to do this  .  EPA, who?

VW does body cavity wax flooding, the same process with a thick
wax or under coating I think would help

Back in the 80's there were many "Rust Proofing" systems that every dealer sold.
Most were never applied correctly (Dealership Cost Cutting).
My experience is yes they work if applied correctly,
    AND MAKE SURE THE FACTORY DRAIN HOLES ARE RE-OPENED!!
    otherwise, you will TRAP Moisture and even have Water Trapped inside.

A garden sprayer with diesel fuel always worked for me. But now days that can be expensive. I don't know if this new low sulfur crap works as good as the older blend.
