Suzuki Rescue Squad
« on: June 02, 2004, 11:20:06 PM »
I had an interesting night last night. About 9:00 PM I get a call and one of my friends roommates was stuck in his K-5 Blazer. He needed directions to make it to the trail. Knowing that he was driving a Stock Honda CRV, I told him that I would show him the way, and I would try to get them unstuck. Like always " you think a Sidekick can get it out?"

They were about half way up the creek stuck in this waterfall.

There is a 3-4 foot deep hole at the bottom of the rapid and he was high-centered sideways, on the fall and almost in the big hole.

To top it off there was a severe T-Storm dumping alot of rain on us, high winds and thunder and lightning everywhere :o

I hooked to the Blazer pulled him up away from having a chance of falling in the hole, then re-positioned, slid him around sideways and back up the falls.

Suzuki impressed another doubter ;D

Oh yea, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the CRV. Bone stock and street tires, made it up the wet muddy trail and out with no problems ;)

Cool story, nice rescue! That's what has happened to "earn" my friend's talents on my armor, I basically took him out in my Tracker enough to greatly impress him with it's abilities and he now thinks that my Tracker "deserves" the armor we're creating! LOL!
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...
