Memorial Day weekend NW
« on: March 27, 2011, 05:02:17 PM »
So I thought I was going to have to be in California for the Memorial day weekend but plans have changed and I'm free to play.  Are there any adventure/camping trips planned that might have room for one more rig??  I'm in Oregon but my wife and I are willing to travel some (but don't want to spend the whole weekend on the freeway).

Actually, that's a good question Doug... As of now, we are not planning on going out to Christmas Valley for the weekend.

Sorry 'bout that.

Not going wheeling on Sunday, but a few Suzuki SX4 owners and I are getting together at Old Market Brewery and Pub on Sunday at 7:00pm for a burger and a beer. You're more than welcome.

I'm jones'in to get out on the trails. I've never been out wheelin, and I have a 4x4 tracker that is beggin to go. Im some sort of 40 year old virgin idling on the pavement with my pink tracker, just waitin for someone to show me the ropes. (in case you are worndering, I moved out here from MN/WI and i can say what goes on in the midwest is not any where close to Oregon.) If no one will take me, I will be forced to go alone. Whatever I do alone is likely to be as close to wheelin as a  chawowa dry humpin a leg is to sex. Please dont make me go dry hump a logging trail  with my pink tracker. If you do, I'll come back raving about this great day I had wheeling... and you will find out all I did was get 2 wheels off the pavement and kick up a little dust.

We just returned from a day of wheelin and i want to thank everyone that helped make today an awesome day. Everyone made us feel welcome, and helped out even though I have a bone stock Sidekick with street tires.  Because do one turned us away, and helped when the "little zuki that could" couldn't... my wife has tolds me no more wheeling until I buy some decent nobby tires and a suspension lift so we don't hold up everyone when we go again.  Anyone have a 2 "  suspension lift and 29-30" knobby tires for sale?  Thanks again to everyone for the great day.

It was a large turnout, it was a typical rainy Oregon day.  Definitely made it more challenging.  Lots of bikes and quads this trip.

Pulling the driveshaft on Drew's, something went wrong in the rear end.

A group of us taking a break.  There was even two Suzuki Motorcycles.

Famous Dave in his new four door.

Davey and Jason, you can just see the pink Tracker.

Greggy Pooh telling Brian to ride for the stars!

I think we have MX5Man talked into a spacer lift, some 30" tires and maybe a rear locker  >:D.

i'm new to wheeling.. so i'm now sure if you call that flexin' ... or breakin shock.  It made some crackin and popping noises when he rolled off the log. And odd thing is, 10 minutes later his shock was broke.  :-\
