no struts?

ive noticed in quite a few pictures on the internet that some guys are running no struts and replacing with shocks and coils. im assuming you just need a mounting point for the shocks but how else do they keep the spindle and hub in place? im intrigued by this but my mind is cloudy..

There are a few people that have built an upper a-arm to replace the strut setup.  The rest just switch to a solid axle up front.  :)

yeah i was reffering to those who still have IFS but i had come to realize the upper a arm was there in the picture. haha but thank you.

There are some interesting conversions out there.  Just depends on how wild you want to go.
