do a search for turbo and you will find a few turbop threads.  from what i have heard i think you can go to 9 PSI with stock pistons and put about 180 Hp on a stcok engine.  wecome to the board.

Easy there, lets not over state this  :o
I'm getting 145 HP at the crank 125 to
the ground, I'm not just useing the stock
FMU, I have added a MegaSquirt EFI system
also.

The system Mhn3773 speaks of is the MAF
16V engine, not the 8V like I'm running.

I can get away with 87 RON with the intercooler
for most driveing conditions, if I plan on some
heavy offroad high HP applications I put in 91
and have not problems with ping, without an
intercooler forget high boost use, ping will kill
the motor.

Any additional ?? I can help with, give me a
shout, I'm here most nights at least for a while.

I have the other turboed tracker.but its a 1.6 16v.and it sounds like you have an 8v.but I am pushing 7psi through an intercooler.and it is on the stock motor.but works just about perfect.have probably between 170 nd 180 hp.MAF makes it alot easier to install a turbo.if you have any questions I'll try to give you some answers as well.but wild can probably help you out a little more on your engine.

ok i know what stand alone and piggy backs are my acura im using hondata lol .

This megasquirt alows me to keep the TBI single injector?

Im thinking of selling the truck and gettin a 95 4 door with the 16V and using a apex-i SAFC and some slightly bigger injecotors im only looking for some extra power like i pull the ski-doo trailer and people around and this 8V POS bougs down.

I think maybe the 16V with its MPI and mas air would be better suited?
