Camoplast tracks
« on: April 20, 2011, 12:01:25 PM »
Recently purchased 98 Sidekick 4dr 4WD with the intention of installing Camoplast Tatou 4S tracks.  Anybody out there have any experience/recommendations on suspension/body lifts for the vehicle.  I want to make sure I get good enough clearances, but yet don't want to get too extreme.  I'm thinking of the emu 2" suspension and 2" body lift.  Your thoughts?  Thanks

Do you need much of a lift to run the tracks?  The OME 2" lift alone would probably be enough.

That's exactly what I'm trying to figure out.  I e-mailed atvtracks.net hoping to get this info.  The reply was that I should check the forums because there is a lot of info on them.  I was hoping someomne who has installed these track on a sidekick would chime in.  I know there are alot out there and have been highly syuccessful using these tracks.

I have seen a couple with the Mattrax.  I don't believe a lift was required.

I agree with Drone, but, I also think that an adapter kit is needed for each wheel position, so you might want to check some more.
