Hopefully, they would last longer than the socks that you buy at Wally-world. Any idea how much for a 6pack?

The press release I got has a retail price of $32.95. May be a little too much for every day socks. I think the idea is: Your out wheeling and you fall into a creek or mud and it's cold and you need dry feet... Yes, I have these socks rattling around in my outdoor kit, I'm saved... kind of thing.

Maybe?

:o  wow. THAT is worse than what I could have even dreamed. I think that I will stick with the extra socks/shirt stuffed in the tailgate for bit longer.

Is it simply "swamped" or is it an actual sinking when you have stuff float out of the back, by going OVER the tailgate, and you haven't even touched the bottom of the creek yet?  :o Ahh, the joys of Spring (runoff that is...)  ::) :P

I put a few rounds of ammo, needle and thread, matches and a 20 dollar bill in vac-bags in my rigs and atv's. its saved me a time or two.

For a dry bag I used ammo can.  I managed to sit on that annoying passenger side tray.  If can be a bear to close at times and I haven't strapped it down yet but it seems to be a nice fit.  I'll probably downsize the can and mount it to the cross bar that runs under the dash.  Only drawback is the rattle of junk inside but I have some old carpet that will be going inside.
