Do any of you know the size of the drain plug on a samurai's transfer case? Its an 88 but im pretty sure they used the same case in all sammy's. Thanks mucho.
You can take the Sammy off the trail, but you cant take the trail out of the Sammy.

don't know it is metric. on track/ kicks they use a 1/2" driver plugs into the plug.
4 1/2 body
Coil spacers

Actually there were two styles of drain plugs used on
Samurai T-cases,not sure when the change occured
but it might have been 88 1/2.Early ones had a 24mm
hex head and a M18-1.5 thread. They have an aluminum
washer that should be replaced for a good seal and the
torque spec is 26.5 to 39.0 foot pounds.Later plugs
have a 10mm square hole in them and a 1/2 pipe
thread.Use some teflon tape on these and torque
to approx two grunts.

Are those metric grunts, or American Standard grunts?  And is that from a squat, or just in a standing position?
