Anyone recognize the wheels on this Samurai?
« on: June 03, 2011, 02:38:00 PM »
Please only respond if you know the manufacturer or distributor. Thanks.

I was able to blow up one of the images and can read what looks like the word "Performance" on one of the spokes.

This thread got off to a bad start, Avanti, you need to calm a little, this is a very
easy going forum, we don't bash, and the mistake Jluck made was just that, no assault
on your intellect, but you came out of your corner swinging, and the good helpful
members didn't like it, and responded in kind.

So let's start over and get a real thread going here and not a flinging fest of the stinky kind

This was getting wilder that a WWF "Lumber Jack" match as more members jumped in!!

3 pages of "RANTS" in less than 24 hrs!!

Please choose your "Words & How You Post Them" carefully as we can see what all can go wrong real fast.

quote:Wild
OK, here is a quick list of wheels that come in the size that fits our trucks,
mind you the wheels in the pic are 15 inch x 7 wide with a JJ bead design
and the lug pattern came on these vehicles, tho there are probably more not
listed, like the new generation Suzuki's

5 on 5-1/2 (139.7 mm)
AMC - Jeep (5 bolt) '42-'89
Chrysler - 8 cyl. & wagon '46-'55 - Imperial '54-'66
Ford 2 ton van
Ford Bronco, F100
Ford - all '28-'48 - full size P.U., van, Bronco '49-'89
International Scout, Travelall
Lincoln - all '52-'60
Mercury - all '39-'51
Suzuki - Samurai '86-'89
Suzuki - Sidekick '89-98.

The LJ80 and SJ410 have the same 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, and some of the newer jeeps also have the same bolt pattern as the rims on my SJ410 came off a jeep (not sure on the year but it was a newer jeep).

And the the rims do look like there on backwards at first, so don't say Jluck is a gay idiot for thinking so, he was only trying to get more info so maybe he could help you avanti.

And avanti you'll get banned from this forum by a moderator if you keep starting fights and then play the victim.

And pirate 4x4 is more your type, Just some advice if you haven't already asked this on pirate 4x4 don't because to them(pirate 4x4) this is a dumb newbie question and you would be called an idiot for asking such a stupid question. Thats why I came here because you can ask a newbie question like whats the best tire or what does spoa and spua mean and get answers and not get called a stupid idiot for not knowing.

quote:avanti
Not goin' anywhere twat. I will continue to post and you will continue to read them and be educated. Got it? Good. Now run along "Senior Member". lol

And stop boasting that you know everthing and anyone that questions you is an idiot.
The only thing I have learned from your posts is that you have a huge fit if you don't get exactly what you want, so I think you got this one backwards, you came to us (The Zukiworld forum/team) for help, We didn't come to you. so quit acting like you deserve respect untill you earn it. If you act like a guest we will try to help you, but if you act like you own the forum you know how it will be received.

Don't tell me to calm down you putz. The problem with Jluck's post wasn't his moronic statement about the wheel being backwards. It was that he deliberately ignored my polite request to keep the responses on-topic and limited to a direct answer. In addition to that, he added gay emoticons and smart-ass remarks designed to start flame. He wanted it, he got it.

Not one of the members that responded to this thread were "good" or "helpful" and none of them deserve any respect whatsoever. Got it?

It was kind of odd, actually. I saw the above photo, and thought "I know I've seen a picture of these recently!" I thought they were at ExpeditionPortal.com, and a quick search in the classifieds section proved right! Mostly coincidence, I think.

His reply looked on topic to me, trying to figure out what wheels they were. Wasn't that the topic?
I didn't see any emoticons that were smart ass, I saw you being a total jerk to a member of the forum
that made a statement, that he though the wheels were on backwards, your reply should of been, no
they are on right, look closer Jluck.

You have a total of a few posts and you are a judge of who on this forum is good and helpful?
I don't think you know enough about this place to judge anything.

Got it?

No, not really, I'm a putz? over 7000 posts and Technical Prestige over 50, hardly qualifies as a putz, you need to
get your facts straight before you start calling names.

I didn't think you started your stay here as a new member, more like you think you own the place, keep it up and
I doubt anyone would respond to your questions, simply because of your bad attitude. Got it?

Have a nice day
