universal 02???

i got an 02 sensor..but the guy said that for my car i should just use a universal 02?? is that right?? he said just splice and wire and it was done

petroworks sells a bosch universal 02 sensor.  No word on how well it works though.  factory suzuki wants $134.01 for a replacement Suzuki unit.  :o

Only difference between the universal and the OEM relacement is the lack of a connector.  All you have to do is cut the connector off the old one and splice onto the new one.

I've had a universal on since I installed the header about 6 mos ago...no issues.
