I just got my 1996 4 door Geo tracker LSI 4x4, but there's no way I could go offroad with the current stock tires and wheels.
I was wondering what is the biggest wheel and tire I could put on there and what is the best mud/road tire. I should be driving about 70-80% onroad but I want to be able to tear it up when I do get offroad.
Thanks
so tell us more.....
wheeling type?
budget?(IMPORTANT)
are you willing to lift it allot?
if you are driving 20-30% of your rigs life off road then I agree you need some mods.....
theres the coil spacer lift and 30's that's very popular and with a traction aid and driving ability you could go most anywhere. or if your like most gearheads and cant leave things well enough alone....
theres the trail slayer from trailtough. then go to 35's. killer set up but then underhood mods will be needed. or theres a custom sas to any size you want.....47" LTB swampers maybe.....(maybe that's my voices in my head talking)

just keep us posted on your progress....pics too.
