Yea, a spring lift is the easiest.  How tall are you looking to go?

That is going to take 6-7" of lift.  Are you going to be repowering?  Is this for trail runs or dd use?

The 2wd samurais are lifted using the same methods as the 4wds.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish by running 33s-35s on a 2wd samurai? 
If you are going to lift it and run bigger tires, at least have the decency to convert it to 4wd. ::)
