Does anyone know if a front third member from a 95 auto sidekick will fit into a 01 tracker. because I tried to switcf from a 4.62 to a 5.12 and the axle shafts are way different. Any help is appreciated

I know '96-'98 (26 spline) fit but I'm not sure about '95.  You need the inner axle shaft from the donor vehicle along with the right cv shaft.  You'll have to make a hybrid shaft that has the middle and outer part from your vehicle and the inner part that goes into the diff from the donor.

89-95 fronts have 22 spline axle shafts.  In 96 they went to 26 spline front axleshafts.

Does this mean it could be done if you used the 99+ side gears?
