Well two moron's didn't show up for work for 2 day's and my partner fired them today when they came in today. So I had to stop working on my toy and roll up my sleeves and come out of retirement since it leaves us with only one employee. This is what it looks like with just the front done and no body lift yet. (needed the lift to get some of the customers vehicles done) :-[

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the hub assembly get mounted on the top of the front control arms?

As shown on the Zukiworld install article:

I just did what it said per instructions of Calmini's Install packing instructions and they're photo given in the installation instructions.

You gain a little more lift with the ball joint
on the other side of the A-Arm, it's about
3/4 to 1" higher, so all you guys looking
for a little more, make the switch.

The only problem with that switch is it makes the angle even worse and a tight fit for the CV boot. Rubs on the Arm.
From what I've heard.
But, I'm still thinkin about doing it too. ;D :D

Wouldn't a little grinding of the A-arm make some extra clearance for the CV boot?

If you do switch the knuckle around, could you put the tierod in on the top of the knuckle, or would you have to taper the hole to do that?

You guys are forgetting about the bumpsteer you will get from not having the lower arms angle alligned with the tierod angle.

Mine is on top, and have not had any probs, I am sure that is what the instructions said to do, unless I went by the Zukiworld info. No probs though Kreg is running the same way as well, and know with the winch and Calmini front bumper, I am going to have to put in spacers as it is starting to rub on 32's.

I think I gave my instructions to Kreg, but I am sure the Calmini instruction said to go over top, perhaps Calmini has changed the install, I did have some problems until the winch and bumper went in.

Curious who is running on top and who has theirs on the bottom?

I think there to go on the bottom.  I had it that way untill I had front end sag.  The tires were tipping in at the top.  So I mounted them on top and the wheels straighted right up.

I am also running the Calimini bumper with a warn 8000i wench.

If your staying with the stock bumper I'd put them on the bottom.

For all those with the Calmini lift and forgot about the stock configuration, my -7 has them on top of the knuckle and integral of the control arm without a grease zerk. I guess I'll need a new control arm if these stock units wear out.
