Lemme tell you a story...
Before I got my 4.24:1 transfer case gears, and I was running the stock 1.8:1 low range, I had a lot of issues on steeper obstacles, where I would slip the clutch a lot, and you could smell it burning up, etc.
Then, I put in a Centerforce I (NOT the DF), and put in my 4.24:1 transfer case gears at the same time.  With that gearing, I probably could have left the stock clutch in, but I felt a lot better, knowing I had all "new" parts in there.
Then, this weekend, I was out wheeling with the Rising Sun Toyota club, in my area.  On the "Whale-Tail", in Chinaman's Gulch, near Buena Vista, Colorado, I was suddenly having trouble - powering out, and not climbing the obstacle - I'm freaking out, and thinking WTF happned?  Then I realized - I had slipped the Xfer case into 4-Hi, for some fast driving between obstacles, and left it there!  I almost made it up in 4-HI! ÂÂ

As soon as I dropped it back into 4-lo, I walked right up the obstacle.  My point is, with good (real low) gearing, it really doesn't matter what clutch you have installed.  20-20 hind sight - My next clutch (if I ever need one), will be a cheap ebay job, most likely.
