tires?
« on: May 08, 2004, 05:53:32 AM »
Hey guys i think i may need to change my tires, mainly cos a member pointed out tha they may not be too good for road use, and after some reasearch i found out they are hopeless in wet weather, so for safty i think i should change them.
I have a 1.6 5 door 1993 sidekick/vitara/tracker,  i would like the tires to be wider than my current ones which are 225 wide, and a bigger than the stock ones, the tires must be for onroad driving, but i don't want slicks ;) basicly if i need to go on a beat up old track i don't want my tires to be ruined, any suggestions?

I had 30x9.5015s on my 93 5 door when it was stock.  They were Goodyear MTRs.  They were really good tires espiecally in the wet weather where I live.

Heres what i bought for my Tracker.I also have them on my ford ranger for 10,000 miles and their wearing great and get good traction in all weather, plus their quiet on the highway! can't beat the price either.
