4.62 or 5.13 gears
« on: December 26, 2011, 04:01:44 PM »
I've been doing alot of reading on the subject of power. I have an 88.5 samuria with a fairly healthy 1.3 (no smoke, small leaks and no raps or knocks) I have an open air cleaner 8.5mm wires, nkg platnium plugs, msd blaster2 coil an 2" exhaust. But I'm running 31" bfg all terrian t/as looks good, but I have trouble climbing hills, downshifting once, maybe twice depening on the hill. I guess I need gears to help with the tires. This is my daily driver I don't plan on running anthing larger than 31s can I use 4.62s or would 5.13s be a better choice??90% of my driving is on the road. ???

Check out the T case gears with a search. It will be cheaper and easier.

I like the 5:13's but for you the 4:62's probally would be a better fit for you. Check with Skyhiranger... he has both for sale. Ask him what he thinks. I'm sure he will give you a meaningful answer and help you with your decision.
I know the voices aren't real.... but they have some pretty kewl ideas!!! Tux.....  ;-)
