Ahhh... this is a sigh of relief. I thought I was going to burst because I couldn't post this on here until NOW, two days after I found it!

Ouch!  :o

I dig Xterras a lot, but I would rather get an XL-7 if given a choice.

Geez, Heather, that was scary.  What the video doesn't show well, is that just before the driver's side hit the rock, out came the arm.  I was digging for my first aid kit, and heading up the rock, when everybody else was reaching for cameras.

Taken from the forum link to the Story:

"Are you alright?
Yes, surprisingly, when you watch the video, look for my feet coming out of the drivers side window."

FEET?

I read the story and missed the true meaning of some of the Nissan jargon. Someone blamed the rollover on the "LSD."  :o Later in the story "LSD" appears to be some Nissan part, not the mind altering drug. For 3/4 of the story I'm picturing Jimi Hendrix rockcrawling in Moab 8)

I think he is just a little off the timing,
his arm came out first, after the rig went
on it's top his leg was trying to go out the
window, Bob and I saw him roll, but I don't
think we ever saw "feet" or even his leg, but
that's what he told us,  as for getting hurt, a few
scrapes and his pride is about all that was hurt.

Ha Ha, LOL  Hendrix in Moab  :D, LSD was his limited Slip Diffs,
Steve told everybody "you need lockers"  well now you see why.

Ohh after the roll over, Bobzooki, Jake Palmberg, and I walked
up and over the Golden Steps, much to the surprise of the onlookers
who I guess thought we were going to have as much trouble
as the Nissans did  8)

scary, it looked to have rolled quite easily. would lockers have made the difference here ? the xterra is my next favorite 4x4 if there weren't any zuks. but i'm glad that guys alright, with no seat belt he could of had more deal with other than a recked truck.

I think so, the LS Diffs allowed the truck to slip alternating
tires on the same axle, and the truck did what gravity does
to slipping wheels, pulled it down hill.

Thats for sure! I was leading this trail for the zuks... I didnt even slow down for it cause I didnt think it was a "real" obstical.  More like part of the trail scenery.
::) In the Nissans defence it might have been a wheelbase issue.... BUT I think it has more to due with zuks rock!  ;D
