The lack of new products is disheartening.

35 years of Samurai ownership, and I still have my very first one. :)

I would love to have faith, but I am afraid the only faith I could muster would be the faith that Suzuki wont release a vehicle that I desire in the USA(or any manufacturer for that matter, LOL). I could care less about a bunch of tech and bling, I want/need a bare bones basic truck/utility vehicle, not a hipster SUV, something that will survive the roads and trials of rural life.

I'm not encouraged.  No Swift.  No body-on-frame 4x4.  Nothing w/ solid axles front or rear.  No hybrid.  No "halo" car (like an Evo'ed out SX4).  Dumped the V6 in the GV.  They sell a Nissan truck (but not nearly at Nissan volume).  Dismal aftermarket support.  Love my Tracker and SX4, but they'll have to do better quickly to keep me on the S train for my next vehicle.
