Power window interchange

Anyone know if the power window regulator assemblies from the front doors of a 4 door will fit the 2 door? Got a line on a set but the whole ball of wax is out of a 4 door. Tried doing a part # search and am still looking, but if one of you guru's already know that would be helpful. Thanks, Mike

Well I'm no Guru... but I do know the manual regulators are different between 2dr & 4dr, so I'm gonna say they prolly are for the autos as well.  :-\ The width of the windows  (& doors) is different.

I had thought about that, the differences in sizes between 2 and 4 door , uh, doors. Well if the manual regulators are different it's a fair bet the power ones will be too. What's different, the actual physical size of the cable?

I don't recall where the difference is, but I do know they are not directly interchangeable.
