If you mean forward?.........

Oh, So Sad, you are in the boat that I'm in.
4 door Neon seat can not fold forward, the seat "Ratchet" isn't set up to do that !!
When I got mine, the "Pick Apart" said $50.00/set & we'll get them out, Charcol Good?
It sounded GREAT, only to find out they were 4 door seats and I was already Wacking & Hacking B4 I found out.

^I heard that you can switch the 4dr mechanism to a 2dr one and vice versa, the seats are all the same just the mechanism between body styles, I will probably go to the j/y this wkend and  try to find a 4dr seat and a 2dr seat and see if I can switch them.

Look at the hinge mechanism and see why it is not folding forward.  You can modify it to fold forward.  Seems like you have to remove one of the bolts, remove (maybe drill out) a spacer and put a shortened bolt in, or put it in from the opposite side or something.  I did it to one of my neon seats...but its been long enough ago, I don't remember the exact procedure....and that samurai isn't here, so I can't go look.

^Was it pretty easy to switch them out? I too am gonna leave the drivers side as is since people don't usually climb in on the drivers side anyways.

It was simple. You have to pull the plastic cover off with a torx driver then there are three,I think it was, on the seat bracket and pull the seat cover up on the seat backs where there are two more. The outside ones are the ones you replace. The insde ones fold forward anyway. Slide the seat all the way forward and go to work.
