4.5" of suspension lift is alot even with the regular Calmini diff drop brackets, the AE 4.5" kit pushs the diff housing forwards as well as dropping it further still than the calmini kit to get 4.5" of lift. I would say limit straps should greatly help if you dont plan on dropping the diff housing any further.

Notice how much the diff sticks down now, the Calmini front skid plate requires .5" spacers to clear.

I took that picture before I snagged a used Calmini front skid plate. It required half inch spacers to clear the diff housing. Before installing the skid plate I had thought about painting red rings on the housing like a target symbol, LOL

I do have the Calmini diff drop brackets and now limit straps but I can always remove the spacers to go down in Suspension lift.  I'll try to snap some pics this week

I know I shouldn't tempt fate - The passenger side hasn't given me any issues and I've had the lift for years.  for that matter the driver's side has been in for years with the lift as well.
