I'm running stock Ford ranger in the front and jeep LJ springs in the back. To fit the ranger springs up front I had to cut a half of the pigtail off, it required a 2 3/4" spacer to match the lift the jeep LJ springs gave me. Probably 5 inches. They are the 29AA. I would recommend the 28AA or AB NOTE: the Jeep springs are front springs on the rear of the Sidekick. The Ranger springs are bigger in diameter and are close to the half shafts. Maybe do what bentparts did? I think he found some 16" 550# springs and got rid of the cal mini springs. I'm getting rid of mine and looking at the James Duff ranger 3" springs. The stock ranger springs are a touch soft but ride nice.
I had to drop my diff and a-arm mounts 4" but it is actually lifted a total of about 5+". This way I can go up a little more if I want(when I do) and won't bind the cv's. My avatar is my sidekick with this budget lift. I still need to put the 1" over arms on the rear and we incorporated a 1" stretch on the front. I have OME front struts and 3" strut spacers but need a little more, it is ok the way it is. I'm running extreme rear shocks that are 15-25.5" compressed and stretched. I have 31" kuhmo Mt. Good luck with your lift, feel free to sl questions and I will try to help.
