learning by mistakes eh ;) i did that in the past as well but it was something else. i think it was paint thinner to remove tar off my paint on a green toyota tercel. my uncle is a body man and told me it was fine as long it was a quick pass but i dint do that at all lol

;D finally had the guts to paint the truck tonight, i have used 6 cans of krylon spary can brand, camouflage flat olive color paint, looks decent so far, at least the silver doors are finally gone , i still want to paint my door side molding, door handles, vitara and suzuki logo and both door side mirrors flat black to match black. now i might get rid of my roof mossy oak camouflage wrap rack as it looks out of place now.

Lightly sand them then coat them with Rustoleum semi-gloss black.  It is inexpensive... and when you get them scratched up.... hit them with Rustoleum again.

I did the same thing as nprecon, only I masked off the outer lip for contrast. Looks good on silver imo.
For the bumpers....  When the bumper covers turned white/gray from UV exposure, I sprayed them with black Raptor bedliner spray. I also sprayed the chrome grille and the side mouldings to tie it all together.

did more today, painted the rim flat black and the mirrors also, i am going to put the door handles black as well, im debating on the door molding black or leave it as it is, what you guys think? i am also gona remove the vitara emblem and use a stencil and black paint to make it look like the # on the military trucks, it will be vitara in those stencil. would be nice to add a www.zukiworld.com banner on top of the windsheild to match it ;)

next on my list is welding the rear diff ,try to fit on 31" tires (or equivalent in 16" size) on off set rims. and intall a roof light bar. then it will be at my taste.
