96 Sierra grill and mystery fenders
« on: June 22, 2012, 05:07:22 PM »
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but not to Samurais. I'm looking to modify my new stock Sammi a bit and want to add some unique flair. I came across this Sierra while trolling the net and was wondering if anyone knew how to get a hold of that grill or the fenders. I know the grill came on the Jb32's but tracking one down in the states has proved difficult. That leads me to the fenders...I have never seen them before and have yet to find another with them. Any help here???
Thanks

Here's the link of the guy's page: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3812380/1984-suzuki-sierra

I saw this add on craigslist, claims to have those grills http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/pts/3083862150.html. I don't know anything about the fenders, kinda look like a sidekick.

Thanks Taco. I actually came across this ad shortly after posting. Unfortunately,  the guy is out of stock and won't give me a definitive price. He also really wanted my phone # and was practically illiterate in his emails. I also found them on ebay UK for $250...a little steep IMO. No luck on the fenders...I agree that they resemble a Sidekick, but with even more flair.

I think that they are from a Japanese company, Kenboy or something like that.

When I lived in Germany, I saw those "Jeep Renegade" style fenders on a few Samurais.
35 years of Samurai ownership, and I still have my very first one. :)
